Microbubble Cleaning for All Pets

Most of what you will read on this site is about dogs. That is where the demand is, and it is where most of our customers start.

It is not the whole picture. Thera-Clean microbubbles clean the skin and coat of essentially any animal you can get into a tub — cats, horses, rabbits, and small animals included. The technology does not know what species it is working on.

Why It Works on Any Coat

The system does not rely on scrubbing, pressure or chemistry, which is what usually limits a cleaning method to one kind of animal.

Thera-Clean produces bubbles 3 to 20 micrometers across from ordinary tap water. They are small enough to enter hair follicles and pores, and they carry a negative charge that attracts positively charged debris — dander, sebum, dirt, yeast, bacteria. That material is drawn out and floated away rather than scrubbed loose.

Cats

Cats are the most common question we get, and the honest answer is that they are often the best candidate.

A conventional bath is a fight. Restraint, running water, shampoo, a long towel-and-dryer session — for most cats it is genuinely distressing, which is why so many owners give up on bathing entirely and why so many groomers will not take cats at all.

A microbubble bath is a still soak. No spray, no scrubbing hands, no shampoo. Cats that will not tolerate a normal bath will frequently sit through this one.

What owners notice afterwards:

  • Less shedding and fewer hairballs. Loose undercoat comes away in the bath instead of being swallowed during grooming.
  • Less dander in the house. The bubbles lift dander out of the follicle rather than redistributing it across the coat.
  • Relief for itchy skin. Cats with sensitive or reactive skin get a deep clean without a chemical load on top of it.
  • A cat that stays clean longer. Overgrooming often eases once the coat is genuinely clean.

Cats

Horses and Larger Animals

The same equipment is used on horses, usually for skin conditions that have not responded to medicated washes. The absence of chemicals matters more at that body size, not less — there is no residue to rinse out of a coat that large and no reaction risk from repeated treatment.

Small Animals

Rabbits and other small pets are handled the same way, with the same reasoning behind it. These are animals where a conventional bath carries real stress and real risk. A still, chemical-free soak removes most of both.

Dogs

Dogs remain the majority of what the system is used for, and it is where the deepest evidence sits — particularly for allergies, chronic itch, yeast and bacterial infections.
